my thoughts

A photograph is a medium that we, as meaning-making individuals, use to express ourselves. For me photography is a medium of art, and I see the meaning of the art found in both the process of creating an image and the act of sharing it with others. Some of my images fit for me as a product of a meaningful process where as others are not so worthy. However, people don’t create solely for personal satisfaction. The final image is what gets the exposure and has the ability to reach the eyes of many cultures stimulating ideas, moments of clarity and action.

So I give forth an endless work in progress, a collection that reflects my development as a photographer and the ways in which I explore the world with my camera. Let us always be working to improve the areas of our life that give forth the most beauty in hopes that the effort will lead to a better understanding of our world.
